HOW TO RESERVE YOUR NEW FUREVER FRIEND

At Mountain View Golden Retrievers, we understand the excitement and anticipation that come with bringing a new furry family member into your home. To ensure a seamless process and to provide you with the best possible experience, we highly recommend reserving your puppy in person and in advance. First and foremost, please review the following information:

OUR LOCATION:

We are located within the city limits of Pahrump, Nevada. Once reservations have been made, we will provide you with our address.

LOCAL TO NEVADA?

All visitations must be between the hours of 9:00AM and 4:00PM and must be arranged no earlier than 48 hours in advance to your arrival.

NOT LOCAL?

We are open to coordinating with you if you are interested in a puppy, but all expenses associated to and including transportation (flights, insurance, etc.) are the responsibility of the buyer.

WANT YOUR PUPPY EARLY?

We get this question a lot, and the answer remains, No.

This is for the health and wellbeing of the puppy.

Our puppy's sell quickly, and reserving a puppy not only guarantees you a spot in line but also allows us to tailor our service to your specific preferences and needs. We believe in building a personal connection with each potential puppy parent, which is why we prefer speaking directly with interested individuals over the phone or in person first. This direct communication allows us to address any questions you may have, make reservations to visit the property and pick your pup, understand expectations, and ensure that the pairing is an ideal fit.

Our asking price is a non-negotiable item because of the investment we put into our pups prior to their forever home. This investment reflects our commitment to you for breeding quality, health, and well-socialized puppies prior to pick up.

Canine Good Citizen is a 10-skill test that teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners.

Both "Tucker" and "Bailey" have attained certification as AKC Canine Good Citizens, a testament to their well-mannered behavior and their owners' commitment to responsible dog ownership. This certification not only instills good manners in the dogs but also serves as a foundational requirement for various therapy dog certifications. Additionally, it acts as a stepping stone for engaging in more advanced dog sports and activities.

From the 1920’s and 1940’s when trick dogs such as Rin Tin Tin and Lassie won peoples’ hearts, trick dog training has become one of the most exciting new areas in dog training today.

AKC Trick Dog titles are official AKC titles listed on the dog’s title record.

AKC Trick Dog titles are official AKC titles listed on the dog’s title record.

Dogs must have an AKC, PAL, or AKC Canine Partners number to earn a title.

In 2023, "Tucker" achieved the Novice Trick Dog Title by successfully demonstrating a range of skills. His accomplishments include proficiently entering a designated box and sitting on cue, navigating a low platform with all four paws, traversing hoops with agility, assuming a poised position with paws on a stool, and executing a controlled crawl on command.

The ATT tests how a dog reacts to a variety of stimuli. Desirable traits are that the dog will be emotionally stable, inquisitive, cooperative, appropriately social for its breed, biddable and demonstrates the ability to recover from a startling situation in a reasonable amount of time.

In the ATT, dogs are tested in 6 categories of stimuli that include:

Social
Auditory
Visual
Tactile
Proprioceptive (motion)
Unexpected stimulus
